After all, BIDS is using the Visual Studio shell with the same TFS plug-in. Good to mention it though, not everyone may know this. Conclusion: one needs to be careful when connecting from either BIDS 2008 or VS 2008 to TFS 2005. That’s true, and it’s quite logical actually when you think about it.
